WHO WILL INSPECT YOUR HOME ?
Your home will be inspected by Dave Falvey, President of Homebuyers Inspection
Service. Dave has been a licensed home inspector for many years in fact he was
inspecting homes before home inspectors were required to be licensed. He holds
Massachusetts Home Inspection License # 30, as well as a Massachusetts
Construction Supervisors License and a Connecticut Home inspectors License. He
performs all of the inspections himself. He does not take on trainees or junior
inspectors. Nor is he a Real Estate agent. Buying a home is serious business not
to be left to an inexperienced inspector or someone without your interest in
mind. Dave believes that getting it right the first time is the only option.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE INSPECTION ?
We will provide a thorough, comprehensive, professional, and unbiased written
report on the condition of the property which includes: Roof, Heating, A/C, Plumbing, Electrical Exterior siding, Gutters & downspouts, Grading, Foundations, Structural Framing, Baths, Kitchens, Some kitchen appliances, Attic areas, Driveways, Walkways, Retaining walls, Interior well components, Interior Waste drain lines, Electric panel, Plumbing fixtures, and Roof Framing.
HOW LONG WILL THE INSPECTION TAKE ?
The average inspection takes 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hours depending on the size, age, and
condition of the property.
SHOULD YOU ATTEND THE INSPECTION ?
We strongly encourage the prospective buyer to be present for the inspection. By
being present you can ask questions and will have a greater understanding of
your new home.
ABOUT THE REPORT
Homebuyers Inspection Service is proud to provide one of the highest quality reporting
systems available. You will find your inspection report easy to read and the explanations very helpful. Most sections of the report will have photos and diagrams showing details of the defects found.
WHEN DO I RECEIVE THE REPORT ?
You will know all of the major concerns about the property at the end of the inspection. You will first receive your report via E-mail the following day. We work hard to put together a report that you can easily understand which carefully explains our findings in terms we all can understand.
Beware of companies that give you a report on site. A hastily written report can cost you by missing important details. Most onsite reports are difficult to read hastily written and hard to understand. A carefully written report is worth a few hours wait.
